Not servant. More like a mentor. Whis is an angel and their job is to find candidates to be a god of destruction for that universe and train them to be a god of destruction. Gods of destruction are replacable, angels are not.

It's amazing Ian Sinclair can also voice flamboyant-like sounds for Whis'. I'd prefer this over the subs. The subs sounded like the angel is xxx. Whereas the dubs at least made him sound only flamboyant
